May I say that I’m proud of myself? After all, anyone struggling to achieve weight loss needs some reinforcement every once in a while… The thing is, whatever I have been doing lately to lose weight has been working great for me. In the past few months, I have lost lots of weight and I feel amazingly great, though now I need to tone up. And of course, as I do not want to be on a diet all my life and I just want to enjoy myself without too many restrictions (especially since I still need to eat cakes) I need to keep up with my weight loss. So I decided to really get prepared.
A few weeks ago I came across an iPhone app called C25K, which is based on a program designed to get just about anyone from the couch to running 5 kilometers or 30 minutes in just 9 weeks. I really liked this idea, especially since I am not one for running at all without puffing and huffing and feeling I am about to die within 15 seconds of running! So I will be talking about the C25K program next week, but for now, let’s get talking about what I am going to wear… When I first went for a run, I realized I seriously needed new pants because mine felt really loose…
I am also convinced that, while you are on a weight loss journey, or even just to keep fit and healthy, why not put all the good elements on your side? Actually, they feel so great that I even got a second pair. I am wearing them around the house right now, and they look so cool I even ventured outside to go to the grocery store… you see, I ran out of my mini apple pies and I did not feel like dressing up at 6.30pm on a Sunday, and I had to have my dessert! I love cakes and I do not care what diet I am on, I need – actually, I have to eat cake, and every day! Especially considering that I do not take any sugar or milk with my coffee, I have to have something sweet… And no, it is not an excuse… lol
Looking good is a great motivation for exercising. As soon as I realized that, I also decided that I may as well go the extreme and I ordered Reebok Women’s Easytone Double Layer Short Sleeve Top, because I also lost my boobs and I needed something to hold them a bit better while running. As I mentioned before, I love my sketchers, but of course they are not intended for running so I got the Reebok Women’s Runtone Running Shoes. I know, it is a bit extreme but I do feel like after all the sacrifices to get back into shape I deserved the best! It is kind of a treat but it serves a great purpose at the same time! If you only have an old pair of tennis shoes and you wear them for running, next day you will feel an awful pain in your knees… If you wear your old sweat pants, you may not get hurt, but you may end up ruining your chances to meet a hot guy, who is most likely to run… away from you if you are dressed up like his grandma!
You can see in the pictures how pleased I am about my new workout outfit! I guess what I am really trying to say is, if you are going to do something, do it well, but using the best of everything, in order to increase chances of success. This works out for exercising and weight loss, but also for pretty much everything else.
