I thought I better write something just to mark that moment. I was not too keen on celebrating because… well just because. Then decided against it and I should be celebrating and ended up having a great night.
This year was full of ups and downs. I even wanted to write a long post about all those people that have done me wrong, about the family that live a few km away and are on Facebook but yet they can’t be bothered to say Merry Christmas or happy 18th birthday to my children since I separated from my now ex-husband (2003 I think), the so called friends that are not really… the list goes on. I wanted so bad to list them all name by name… I felt really angry.
But I decided against it because they are not worth it. I can’t be bothered wasting my breath on such people.
I would rather thank all the new people I have met this year that have rocked my world, that have made me smile. There are also my good old friends that have supported me online, handled my crying and hours of talking through Skype and my friends offline by making sure I was alright; there are also the people I don’t know that well but we have the occasional chats and I will always appreciate a good chat or even through comments… To all those wonderful people, I don’t need to name you because you know who you are and thank you for being part of my world.
So my first resolution for 2014 is to let go of the negativity around me. My second resolution is to clean up all my email accounts… that may take a few months….
May the New Year bring many opportunities your way, to explore every joy of life and turning all your dreams into reality & all your efforts into great achievements!
